Bethany Miller
​Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Bethany began her early training with Barry and Anna VanCura of Ballet Tennessee. She graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2012. At FSU, Bethany had the honor and privilege to work with renowned choreographers such as Gerri Houlihan, Tim Glenn, Rick McCullough, and Anjali Austin, among others. In 2011, Bethany received an arts administration internship with Joyce SoHo of The Joyce Theater Foundation in New York City, under the administrative direction of Cathy Eilers and Joanne Robinson Hill. This was possible through the FSU in NYC program.
Within the past two years, Bethany has taught various dance classes at Wildwood Ballet in Tallahassee, FL and Ballet Tennessee in Chattanooga. This past summer, she had the opportunity to teach and assist for the Dance Alive program presented by Ballet Tennessee and the City Parks and Recreation of Chattanooga, TN. Bethany is thrilled to be a member of Shauna Dever Dance. Along with performance, she continues to pursue careers in choreography, arts administration, and education of the arts.
