Amanda McPeek

Originally from the music capitol Nashville, TN, Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance. During her time at FSU, Amanda was a member of the Dance Repertory Theatre under the direction of Lynda Davis. She has worked with internationally recognized choreographers such as Dan Wagoner, Gerri Houlihan, Monica Bill Barnes, Alan Danielson, Stephen Koester, Wallie Wolfgruber, and Rick McCullough. In 2008, Amanda choreographed and had her work produced in the Days of Dance concert at Florida State.  In 2009, Amanda had the privilege of obtaining an arts administrative internship at Susan Marshall & Company and Westside Dance Physical Therapy, with acclaimed founder Marika Molnar, in New York City as a part of the FSU in NYC program. Amanda is certified in teaching Pilates in levels 1 and 2 through the Pilates Education Group under the direction of Anna Alverez in Miami, FL.

Back in Nashville she has been the dance director for “e-Camp” arts festival for the past two years and has taught dance at Harpeth Hall School, Franklin School of Performing Arts and Fellowship School of Dance. Amanda is beyond excited to be dancing and a member of Shauna Dever Dance.  When she is not doing one of the above, she loves to try new recipes, be outside, and be with the people she loves.
